We like to think of our practice as a place that offers a
little bit of everything in quality dentistry. Dr. Keider has
expertise in so many different areas of dentistry that we rarely
have to refer you to a specialist. Because he takes the time
to get to know you and works closely with you, Dr. Keider can
perform all of the following services and minimize the number
of visits without sacrificing the level of care you receive.
Preventive Care Services
Your jaw and the way you bite are critical to your dental
health. Problems with either can lead to chipped or cracked
teeth, or migraines from temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ).
During your appointment, Dr. Keider will extensively examine
your jaw and bite as well as your teeth, gums, and other tissues
in your mouth. If he sees a problem, he may prescribe nightguards,
which are custom-designed barriers that you place between your
top and bottom teeth to prevent grinding while you sleep. He
may also suggest any of the other preventive care services
we offer:
- Regular Checkups
- Cleaning
- Patient Education
- Dental Sealants
- Nightguards
- Mouthguards
- Breath Treatment with OxyFresh®
Restorative Services
Dr. Keider provides a variety of quality restorative services
to repair and improve the health and appearance of your smile. Among
the restorative services Dr. Keider provides are root canals,
which have received a bad reputation in previous years. When
Dr. Keider prescribes a root canal to a new patient, many
anticipate the worst. Fortunately, they are pleasantly surprised
by how pain-free and actually comfortable the dentist performs
this procedure. Dr. Keider is extensively trained in root
canals and can perform them without referring you. In addition
to root canals, he may also recommend the following services.
- Tooth Colored Fillings
- Porcelain Veneers
- Whitening with Rembrandt® and Bravo®
- Bonding
- All Porcelain Crowns, Onlays and Inlays
- Bridges
- Dentures & Partial Dentures
- Root Canals
Gum Disease Services
Detecting and treating gum disease is a primary concern for
Dr. Keider. Research indicates that the bacteria that constitute
gum disease can not only damage teeth and gums, but can also
cause heart disease and other severe disorders. Unfortunately,
since the early stages of gum disease (also called periodontal
disease) aren’t painful, many patients forego treatment
until the disease becomes severe. To try to prevent this
from happening, Dr. Keider checks for gum disease in every
dental examination. He also offers the following
services for gum disease treatment:
- Diagnostic Services
- Periodontal Charting
- Scaling and Planning
- Select Gum Surgery Procedures
Cosmetic Services
If you want to makeover your smile, Dr. Keider can create
the perfect one for you. Before beginning any cosmetic procedure,
he will spend a lot of time examining your mouth and discussing
what you would like to change. After formulating a treatment
plan, Dr. Keider can create before and after wax-up models
of your mouth so that you can see the changes before they
happen.
- Dr. Keider will utilize one or more of the following services
to enhance your smile:
- Invisalign®
- Tooth Colored Fillings
- Porcelain Veneers
- Whitening with Rembrandt® and Bravo®
- Bonding
- All Porcelain Crowns, Onlays and Inlays
- Recontouring
Patient Comfort and Technology
The dental tools and technology we use play a key role in
making our patients feel comfortable and relaxed. We use a
variety of advanced tools, such as electrosurgery and air abrasion,
to help us work efficiently and improve your healing time.
These tools were carefully selected for their ability to
be safe, quiet and pain-free. If you’re still nervous
about your visit, we also offer several amenities to help
you relax. These amenities, along with our tools, are
listed below:
- Air Abrasion
- Patient Education System
- Electrosurgery
- Nitrous
- CD Players
- Blankets
- Sterilization Center
We recently brought some new technology into the office including
the following:
- Intraoral camera to help patients see the problems I diagnose
up close for themselves
- Digital radiography which increases X-Ray resolution greatly
and better diagnoses. These X-Rays require about 1/3 the
radiation needed than traditional X-Rays.
- Cosmetic Imaging Software to be able to show patients before
and after photos before they even begin treatment.
- Flat screen plasma TV’s in all operatories, which
patients can watch cable TV while having treatment done.
